Welcome to Knox Service Dogs! We are a company who is passionate about improving people's lives through partnering those with disabilities with service dogs.
We are a branch of Wendy's Canine Training devoted to coaching those in training their own service dogs and to raising and training service dogs for those who do not have the time or energy to do this themselves.

Our Story
It all started about 30 years ago with helping people train their own pet dogs to be enjoyable companions. However, in more recent years some of our clients wanted help training their pet dogs to be service dogs. "Can you help my dog help me?" was the question. Seeing this need, our trainer, Anna McAndrews, began an education in service dog work. After successfully helping several service dog handlers train their own service dogs, we began specializing in this field. Over the course of a few years, more and more requests for this specific help came through. This raised the question, "how many people are out there who want a service dog, but don't feel like they have the resources to raise and train their own dog?" Due to this line of thought, we have begun raising and training dogs for those who want to adopt a fully trained service dog.
