Service Dog Coaching

To have a service dog:

1) You must be able to document a disability

2) Your dog must have good manners

3) Your dog must perform one or more trained tasks to mitigate your disability

Lessons include:

• temperament testing of your dog

• education on service dog laws and rules

• creating a training plan

• identifying tasks and creating a task list

• learning what equipment you will need

• professional guidance on where to focus training

• how to public access train

• how to train tasks

• how to teach your dog to a calm but focused demeanor 

• how to avoid common mistakes

We charge:

$150 per hour for a home session plus a $25 travel fee. (a travel fee applies if you live over 15 miles from our facility).

​

$150 per hour for a session at our facility via in person or video conference call.
